| Hello, I actually live in Southern Tenn., only 2 miles to the Alabama state line so I consider myself as much a North Alabamian as I do a Southern Tennessean! Most of the homeschoolers are 2 hours north of me in larger cities (i.e. Nashville, Murfreesboro). I have joined several of their chat rooms but I am very excited to find a group closer to home! Our son is going into the 8th grade and has been attending a private school since he was in kindergarten. We are looking forward to homeschooling next year! Oh my gosh, I just noticed there isn't "Spell Check".. LOL

| Welcome to the Forum, Momma P! Tennessee is close enough  Our board is fairly new and I am hoping that we will have some more regular information about events across North Alabama as it gets closer to the fall/new school year.

I started homeschooling my boys in their 5th and 7th grade (second semester). They will be in 10th grade this year. It has been the best decision for our family...
