| Last year, we took a break from homeschooling for the summer. There were sooo many hot days last year that my boys didn't want to go outside. I decided this year that we would have a modified school day to make better use of the time.
We took off 3 weeks at Christmas and 1 week this spring, as well as some days off here and there. We will take off a week this summer and a week this fall.
The boys will be doing math through the summer as well as previewing their chemistry book. We will also be watching educational videos from the library and some shows on the History Channel and Discovery.
That's the plan for now anyway
