Applications are being accepted for the Points of Light Youth Leadership Institute. This is a program open to high school students in Morgan and Lawrence counties (homeschool friendly). Students meet regularly in Decatur (schedule will be announced) to learn team building skills and leadership concepts. Students research, plan and execute a team volunteer project.

You can pick up an application at the Volunteer Center. Application deadline is September 10th, but don't wait because you may need to submit a letter of recommendation. Contact Linda Johnson at the Volunteer Center for more information (355-8628)
